Emily Mims

Emily Mims is a second year student at the University of Florida studying History with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Education Studies. Emily hopes to one day be a professor, but we'll see what part of the higher education rabbit hole she ends up in. This past summer Emily served as a Preview Staffer, UF’s version of orientation leaders, helping to welcome nearly 17,000 new students, parents, and family members. When she is not in the office, Emily competes for the UF Model UN team, where she currently serves as President. Emily’s favorite things to do in Gainesville includes local music at the High Dive and Heartwood Sound Stage, trying new restaurants, and the host of vintage markets happening every week.
