Research shows students who get involved with the University feel connected and enjoy their time here. Just because you’re an off-campus student doesn’t mean you can’t get involved. Being a student at the University of Florida provides you access to so many opportunities and resources, making the most of your time at UF.

Department for Student Activities and Involvement

Department of Student Activities and Involvement houses and supervises more than 1,000 campus student organizations. To find organizations that interest you, go to the 3rd floor of the Reitz Union and visit the SAI website for more information.

Brown Center for Leadership and Service

The Brown Center for Leadership and Service (BCLS) provides structure and resources to prepare students to become productive citizens and assume leadership and service roles in a culturally diverse and increasingly complex society. The Brown Center fosters lifelong service and civic participation by engaging the University with its greater community in action, change, and learning. University Athletic Association

A connection with athletics often builds school spirit, and many students claim they don’t know when athletic events are going on?  Visit UF’s Florida Gators website for everything you need to know about your favorite Gator teams, times of events, tickets, and much more.  Go GATORS!

Gator Nights

Enjoy free movies, activities, giveaways, and midnight breakfast on Friday nights. The Reitz Union and SW Rec Center are open until 2:00 a.m. Visit the Gator Nights website for more information.

RecSports
